My husband and I used to live in Phoenix and spent our first anniversary near Flagstaff. We gave a day to visit the canyon. I agree with you, the glory of creation never ceases to overwhelm me with wonder. Your photos are wonderful. Makes me want to go again with my camera.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05022285659399024639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542030489803138556.post-76896948996454510752009-10-08T04:28:34.661-07:002009-10-08T04:28:34.661-07:00"the never finished still evolving little me ..."the never finished still evolving little me in the grand drama of the forever still to be" . . . your words are so rich! After your soggy summer it must have felt like a whole new universe to breathe that dry air.

Your pictures were lovely, as were the words. "Walking along the Rim Trail felt like opening gift packages."

Denny and I went to the Grand Canyon on our honeymoon almost 14 years ago and I still have vivid memories of the plunging vision into the basaltic depth of the canyon to the older-than-God rock. A religious experience. So glad you all got to do it together.Kathleen Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10868566314392048880noreply@blogger.com
